Only one partner per territory has access to each specific genetic, ensuring your flowers remain truly unique and unavailable to competitors in your market.
We also offer global exclusivity on select elite cultivars for partners seeking complete worldwide protection at a premium rate. This structure allows you to command higher prices and build stronger brand differentiation.

Licensing agreements with territorial exclusivity typically involve a royalty of 5% to 10% of gross revenue from products derived from the genetic, depending on the cultivar’s rarity and performance. There is also a $10,000 CAD deposit (fully creditable against first royalties) to be paid prior to the genetic transfer. We provide clear, customized quotes during confidential discussions. Once the agreement is signed, we perform final independent pest and disease lab testing. Upon passing results and payment clearance, we transfer the genetics. Delivery typically occurs within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the cultivar and logistics. We prioritize speed while upholding the highest cleanliness and quality standards.

It depends on the type of agreement:

  • Outright Purchase: Yes. Purchasing a cultivar outright gives you full ownership. You may resell, distribute, or sublicense the genetics freely, with no further obligations to CannaHelix.
  • Licensing Agreement: No, unless explicitly authorized. Standard licenses prohibit reselling or sublicensing. Any sub-licensing or third-party use requires our written consent. If approved, the original royalty (5%–10% of gross revenue) applies to all derived products, regardless of grower or seller.
